We will be meeting on the Oak Run Ranch, located at 8450 Happy Camp Rd. Moorpark Ca 93021. Heading North on Walnut Canyon (23 frwy) keep going straight on Happy Camp Road, follow the signs
ABOUT THE EVENT
The start/finish is on a private ranch so bring your own pop-up/easy-up, tables, chairs, and cooler. PLEASE and VERY IMPORTANT NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THIS PROPERTY AS THEY HAVE LIVESTOCK AND WE DO NOT CARRY INSURANCE FOR ANIMALS
This is a self-supported event. We will have some water and electrolytes at the start/finish area and some water support on the courses, but you have to bring your own cup or soft flask
SCHEDULE
Follow the directions to the Ranch the event starts at 7am Saturday November 9th. There is plenty of parking.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY PETS
No registration required. Just show up and run, walk or crawl.
Start and finish any time you wish.
There are three suggested courses, a 5K, 10K and 12 mile course.
This year, we will be supporting the Downey Rose Float Association a not-for profit organization that raises money to build a float for the Rose Parade on New Years day. One of the main fundraising activities involves the Miss Downey pageant, which is open to young ladies 8 to 23. This event helps empower young women to set goals and strive for excellence in all areas of their lives. The Downey Rose Float Association is comprised of dedicated volunteers giving of their time to make a difference in the community.
